Dear Friends,

What an exciting time it is for Camp Rio Blanco Circle of Friends and Camp Rio Blanco! We are appreciative of the opportunity to grow Camp Rio Blanco and expand its impact for youth and others in the surrounding communities. Many of you have directly experienced the beauty, growth, and influence that this camp has provided for over 65 years; and with your help, we will continue to work toward the best experiences for youth that Camp Rio Blanco is known for. Others who have not yet had a direct experience at Camp Rio Blanco have offered tremendous support and belief in our mission as you recognize the impact this camp has in the community.

Camp Rio Blanco will continue to offer opportunities to the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains community while also expanding the wonderful outdoor experiences to reach more youth, organizations, and families through rentals and hosted events.

During this transition, your continued support, in so many ways, is greatly appreciated as we work toward growing our volunteer base in addition to building our fund development. Ways to get involved include:

• Becoming a Member: Your Camp Rio Blanco Circle of Friends membership helps with operating expenses that are used to directly offset expenses for organizational growth and reach.

• Supporting Annual Fundraisers: Our signature Fall event – Flannel & Firelight – will be held on November 8^th at Spirit Ranch & the S’more Run 5K in the Spring.

• Becoming a Monthly Donor: Your monthly gift will help with the sustainability of camp operations and improvements.

• Volunteer: Your skills and time will help with building for the future of Camp Rio Blanco and ongoing maintenance of the camp property.

• Financial Contribution: Your gift will go directly back into camp improvements and enhanced programming for youth.
